Downtown Livermore Commercial Real Estate Update

Have you noticed? There is no longer a sign on 2152 Second Street (the former Orghipchick, previously the former Tommie’s deli space). The new tenant is going to be a salon called “Blowout Bar”. Look for them to be opening soon.

Speaking of Orghipchick today I received an email from them… they have officially announced they will be closing soon. As of the 24th of February they will be having an inventory sale. The final closure date will be sometime in mid March. Orghipchick will continue to operate “boutique parties” with a limited selection of their inventory. Perhaps the 600 square foot space at 2074 1st Street will be back on the market?

Swirl on the Side in Blacksmith Square is now open (above). Milano Joe’s Cucina Italiana will be opening in the old El Charro Taqueria space on First Street (pictured below). El Charro has moved to the former Mario’s Steak & Chop spot on Maple. Thankfully they installed some windows and have created a patio area in the front of the space. Do you remember how dark Russ’s Pizza and Mario’s was? That always creeped me out…

RUMOR has it a steakhouse is eyeballing a downtown building for a new location.  Also an american chain restaurant has a pending lease at Livermore Valley Plaza. The undisclosed restaurant will take half of the empty space  next to Star Anise and across from Sapphire Lounge.
