Pleasanton Continues to See Commercial Leasing Activity

Despite being an election year, which on average are a bit slower than most years, Pleasanton is doing okay in terms of retail leasing. The newest deals completed include Dollar Tree and Leslie Pool Supply. Both retailers will be moving into Rose Pavilion on Santa Rita Road.

Leslie’s Pool Supply will be taking the space next to Taco Bell, in the front of the center. Dollar Store will be going in by Golf Mart.

Pleasanton has also had a couple of closures as of late, including Domus in downtown and Carl’s Jr. on Hopyard Road. The operator of Carl’s has many other locations and just decided to close this store upon the end of the lease contract. Domus on the other-hand, is closing much sooner than the 5 year lease that was signed. With 4 years left, it looks as though business did not pick up as hoped.

Other notable info: Wal-Mart neighborhood grocery is delayed once again. Opening has been pushed to spring of 2013. The former TGI Fridays is going to be demolished in the wake of a new tenant (still undisclosed).
